Denise Canon
Denise is the President and Owner of Travel Concepts, Inc., and has spent over 30 years in the travel industry. She leads and oversees the full-service travel consulting and management firm.
INSPIRATION: Travel has played in integral part in Denise’s life. Her wanderlust since high school paved her career path, and is reflected in the jobs she has had. She was a flight attendant and worked in radio station marketing, which included designing and planning individual and group travel programs. ROMANCE: Passion of travel and numerous business trips to the islands of Hawaii eventually led her to meeting the man of her dreams in 1988, when the romantic journey began with their marriage. PASSION: It’s the one emotion that that is synonymous with travel. Denise LOVES sharing a client’s dreams and ultimately crafting a unique journey, sprinkled with the many magical experiences a client will anticipate with her direction. EXPERIENCE: Her extensive travels during her career have also developed many relationships and partnerships with destinations and suppliers, translating into an extension of the high levels of customer care benefiting the clients of Travel Concepts. Time away from business is spent with her husband, 3 children and family; passionate interests include daily exercise, love a great book, gardening, any opportunity to experience the ‘sand & sea’ and she is a wine enthusiast!
Heather Underwood
Preceding her travel career, Heather spent over 10 years in the insurance industry, assisting with the many facets of training and managing new hires. Her focused attention to critical details allows her duties as Office Manager to work cohesively as a Travel / Cruise Consultant to the numerous clients she serves. A valued asset to Travel Concepts, Heather’s fun and upbeat personality is combined with her relentless dedication to every facet of the client relationship, as well as with her team in day-to-day operations. Passion is a word that best describes Heather in and outside of the workplace ~ gardening guru, Harley Davidson enthusiast, loves a great suspense/thriller novel and shares time with her husband, giving back to their church family and non-profit organizations. Heather’s organizational skills ARE the cog that continues the wheel at Travel Concepts!
Beverly Allison
With over 40 years of travel experience, Beverly Allison is truly an asset to Travel Concepts. Specializing in GROUP TRAVEL, she has operated tours throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean plus countless cruises. Bev has handled on-site details with incentive groups that include Concorde Career College and Kruger Seeds, as well as the hectic schedule of Grand American Racing Teams. She has worked with numerous leisure groups including AARP nationally, plus John Knox Village and Ballroom Unlimited locally. In her free time, she enjoys ballroom dancing and participating in Community Theatre. Beverly’s calm personality, thorough attention to detail, and dedication to customer service has helped her clients realize their travel dreams.
