A message from the Bride & Groom …

We are excited about the opportunity to share our important day with you.  Since this is a non-traditional ceremony, we wanted to provide a little information concerning the particulars of this trip.

Beyond the many amenities and features included at the resort, there are additional fees for the optional excursions that you can sign up for, including golf, scuba diving, visiting the ruins. While we are honored that you would participate in our wedding event, we view this as your vacation, so please feel free to relax and do whatever you want. Additional planned functions will be shared with you within your travel documents.

Although still reverent, the setting is more laid back. If you were hoping to see Tom in a tux and Ruth in a flowing wedding gown, you’ll be disappointed. The attire for the wedding will be ‘island smart’ (business casual). We’ll be in Mexico in July … wear a suit at your own risk!

Regarding gifts, we are in a different position than most newlyweds, and not in need of the typical items.  As such, we’re asking that you do not provide gifts.  If you still feel inclined, please consider making a charitable donation to the American Cancer Society, No More Homeless Pets KC, Salvation Army or another charity of your choice.  And rest assured, if you cannot join us in Mexico, we will have a reception at a later date in Kansas City.  We hope to see you there!

THE GROUP CUSTOMIZED TRAVEL PACKAGE INCLUDES:

• Accommodations for 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 nights at THE AVENTURA SPA & COVE RESORTS, providing your specific room category, DOUBLE occupancy, including applicable hotel taxes & service.  All-inclusive features provide: all beverages, meals, taxes, gratuities, non-motorized water sports on property. • Roundtrip airport to resort transfers.

GROUP AIR PACKAGE (a ‘group’ consists of 10 persons traveling together)

THE AVENTURA SPA & COVE PALACE RESORTS: The resort is divided into two sections: Aventura Spa Palace (ADULTS ONLY RESORT) & Aventura Cove Palace (FAMILY FRIENDLY RESORT), each one with its own characteristics.  Each luxurious, expansive room includes a private balcony, plush Palace Beds® and double Jacuzzis.  Each resort provides large lagoon-style pools~ winding its way throughout the resorts, including swim-up bars, and children’s areas.  Exchange privileges at select Palace Resorts are included.

UNLIMITED TOURS included with the PALACE PASSPORT PROMOTION: Chichen Itza, Ek-Balam/Valladolid, Tulum/Xpu-Ha, Isla Mujeres, Coba, Wet ‘n Wild, and Zip Line at the Holkan Kingdom Park (per person).

**2010 Free Kids Summer Promotion (Aventura Cove Palace): Promotion is ONLY valid for children 12 years old and under and sharing a room with an adult. Limited to two (2) children per room.  Children ages MUST be noted in the reservation.  Ages reported for children must be accurate at time of travel.  Proof of age will be required upon check-in.  In the event that the ages are incorrect, the difference in rate will be charged at check-in.  Promotion is subject to change without prior notice by Palace Resorts.  Combinable with the Passport to Savings promotion.

GROUP TRAVEL SERVICES

This travel program has been negotiated and coordinated with separate vendors as a GROUP, and additional suppliers and vendors who are part of this program in its entirety.  A ‘group’ consists of a minimum of 10 rooms at the resort /10 air seats (if applicable, per airline).  Specific cancellation/change policies will be presented in each passenger’s detailed confirmation.
